Delete your account
In the app in four taps, or by email. Effective October 25, 2026.
In short
- In the app: your profile, Settings, Delete account, and confirm.
- Without the app: write to [email protected] with your player name.
- Your name, rating, sign-ins and blocks go. Past games stay, under “Deleted player”.
- You cannot undo it. Google’s ad data is separate: use Google’s controls for it.
Deleting your account removes your name, your rating and record, your sign-ins with Google or Apple, your block list, and every key that lets a phone open the account. You cannot undo it.
In the app
- On Home, tap the round button at the top right, “Profile and settings”. It opens your profile.
- Tap Settings, the last row of your profile.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of Settings.
- The app asks “Delete your account?” Tap Delete account. The account is deleted, and the app goes back to Home and asks for a name.
Your phone needs a connection for this. Playing online again makes a new account.
Delete account shows in Settings only when this phone holds an account. If it is not there, this phone never played online, and our server holds nothing from it.
Without the app
If you signed in with Google or Apple, install Euchre March on any phone, sign in from your profile and delete the account as above.
If you played as a guest and no longer have the phone, write to [email protected] with your player name and about when you last played. We hold no email address for any account, so those two are how we find yours. We delete it the way the app does and reply when it is done, within 30 days.
What lives only on your phone (your settings and your lesson progress) goes when you uninstall the app.
What stays
Nothing that names you:
- Finished games stay in the other players’ records, because they are part of their history too. Your name in them becomes “Deleted player”.
- A blank account record stays, so those games still point at something: its random id and the dates it was made and last used. It holds no name and no sign-in, and no phone can open it.
- Chat lines you sent go with the normal 30-day deletion, shown as “Deleted player” until then. A table under report review keeps its chat until we resolve the report.
- Reports you made, and reports about you, stay until we resolve them.
- Game statistics (see the privacy policy) lose their link to the account.
- The copies of the database on our server roll over within five days.
Ad data
Deleting your account does not delete the data Google’s ad software collected (see the privacy policy). Google holds it, not us, and it is not tied to your account. To limit it, change your choices in your profile (the round button at the top right of Home), then Settings, then Ad privacy, where the app shows it. On Android, open the phone’s Settings, then Privacy (or Google), then Ads, to reset or delete your advertising ID. On an iPhone, open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, to stop the app, or every app, from tracking you. Google’s own ad settings are at myadcenter.google.com, and how Google uses this data is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
